About Yamaha MT-03
The new Yamaha MT-03 price is starting from 4.60 lacs. It is available in 2 colours in India and its high-end price bike is 4.60 lacs. MT-3 has a 321 ccbs6 2.0 engine which generates 42 PS and 29.5 Nm torque. It has both front and back disc brakes. Yamaha MT-03 weighs around 167 Kg and has a 14-litre fuel tank.
It has been officially launched in India on 15th December 2023. Yamaha MT-03 is a Japanese brand, that is roaring on the streets of India. This bike is built with the same chassis as the Yamaha R3 but this one is a naked version.
Design of Yamaha MT-03
As you can see it has a streetfighter-like design which makes it look aggressive and it has a single light projection that covers the front part areas. It has a similar front light to the Yamaha MT-15. Its outside engine and tank extension make it more aggressive and muscular and its rear section is the same as the Yamaha R3.
Price of Yamaha MT-03
Its price is Rs. 4,59,900 ex-showroom Delhi, and it consists of 2 colour variants that is Midnight Black and Midnight Cyan. The bike will be imported from Indonesia, which is why the price is high.
Features of Yamaha MT-03
The Yamaha MT-03 has an LCD unit that displays time, speed, revs and tripmeters. There is no navigation system or smartphone connectivity which is a drawback. Nowadays you can see that in less power bikes. It has dual-channel ABS and a Headlight that works like an LED projector.
Yamaha MT-03 Engine
With a 321cc liquid cool twin-cylinder engine, and a 6-speed gearbox, which produces 42PS at 10750rpm and 29.6 Nm at 9000rpm. It does not have a slipper clutch or an assist which MT-15 have.
Suspensions, Brakes and Other Features
The MT-03 is crafted on a diamond frame, borrowed from the R3, featuring a 130mm front wheel travel with upside-down forks measuring 37mm in diameter. At the rear, it gracefully hangs on a monoshock suspension with a wheel travel of 125mm. When it comes to stopping power, the bike relies on the reliability of dual-channel ABS, with a 298mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the back, both working together seamlessly.
This motorcycle, with a 14-litre gasoline tank and a weight of 167 kg (wet), is prepared for riding. With its 780mm seat height and 160mm ground clearance, it provides a nimble and comfortable ride.

The bike will be imported into the country through the CKD route, and it comes with a price tag of ₹4,64,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Features of Yamaha R3
The Yamaha R3 has a striking resemblance to the R15. It features dual LED headlights up front on the fully-faired motorcycle, with the familiar Yamaha-style intake in the middle. Equipped with a digital instrument console, it unfortunately doesn’t offer Bluetooth connectivity.
Power and More Features
Powering the R3 is a 321cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that generates 41.4 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 29.6 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a traditional clutch and a 6-speed gearbox; there’s no slip-and-assist clutch here.
Handling-wise, the R3 comes with upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The braking system is supported by dual-channel ABS, with discs measuring 298mm at the front and 220mm at the rear.
Rivals of Yamaha R3
In the Indian market, the Yamaha R3 will face competition from the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, and the Kawasaki Ninja 400. It marks an exhilarating advancement within the category!
